BUDGBT <br />PLAN OJ' THB LA PORTB :rIn CONTROL, PRBVBBTIOB, AND BJlBRGUCY <br />IIBDICAL SERVICBS DISTRICT, MAXDiG VARIOUS I'IBDIBGS AND PROnSIOHS <br />RBLATIBG TO TlIB SUBJECT, I'IBDIBG COIIPLIDCB WITH TlIB OPD JlBBT:IBGS <br />LAW, AHD PROVIDIHG .AJf BI'I'BCT:IVB DATE HERBO:r. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Temporary Board of Directors of the La Porte Fire <br />Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District (the <br />"District") has formulated a two-year fire control, prevention, and <br />emergency medical services plan and a two-year budget plan for the <br />District containing all of the elements enumerated in section <br />344.061 of the Texas Local Government Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on 14th day of February, 2011, the City Council of <br />the City of La Porte held a public hearing on the fire control, <br />prevention, and emergency medical services plan and the budget plan <br />after the requisite notice of the public hearing was published in <br />a newspaper with general circulation in the District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the public hearing, all residents of the District <br />were entitled to be present and to participate in the same; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after considering the public input and stUdying the <br />fire control, prevention, and emergency medical services plan and <br />the budget plan, as approved by the Temporary Board of Directors of <br />the District, the City Council of the City of La Porte desires to <br />approve both plans; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby <br />approves and authorizes the La Port~ Fire ContrOl, Prevention, and <br />Emergency .Medical Services District's two-year fire control, <br />prevention, and emergency medical services plan and two-year bUdget <br />plan as submitted and approved by the Temporary Board of Directors <br />of the District, which are attached hereto as Exhibit "An and <br />incorporated herein for all intents' and purposes. <br />Section 2. The city Council officially finds, determines, <br />recites, and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, <br />hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council was <br />posted at a place convenient to the,public at the City Hall of the <br />
