Emergency Services Department Fiscal Year 2011 -12 Fire Suppression Division Expenditure Summary Scope of Services Summary The Fire Suppression Division, under the direction of the Chief, is responsible for the protection of life and property from fires, hazardous material incidents, and other emergencies that may arise. The Division consists of thirteen (13) full time fire fighters, and 70 volunteer fire fighters, operating out of four stations, each of which is manned 24 hours a day by one of the paid fire fighters.
