Based on the results of its study, TXDOT is recommending two speed limit changes <br />along the SH 146 feeder roads. <br />1. Maintain the speed limit at 35 MPH on LaPorte feeder roads to Highway 146, both north and south, from <br />the north city limit of La Porte to Barbours Cut Blvd.; and <br />2. Increase the speed limit from 35 MPH to 40 MPH from Barbours Cut Blvd., to McCabe Rd. <br />As such, the listed changes to the La Porte Municipal Code, Chapter 70, Article III, Division 2 (Speed Limits), <br />Section 70-102 and Section 70-103 are recommended. <br />Action Required of Council: <br />Consider approval or other action of an ordinance amending Chapter 70 "Traffic and Vehicles" of the Code of <br />Ordinances. <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />Corby D.
