Total equipment packages include items <br />such as emergency lights, sirens, push bumpers, radio and computer mounting equipment, special prisoner seating <br />and cages, weapon racks, custom graphics, etc. <br />CAP Fleet Upfitters has a current BuyBoard contract, Number 430-13. BuyBoard is a Texas Local Government <br />Purchasing Cooperative that provides public agencies the opportunity to comply with bidding requirements, by <br />utilizing the state bidding process. Agencies that utilize Buy Board contracts also receive a 2% rebate on all <br />purchases and save administrative costs associated with the local bid process. <br />The amount requested is within the amount budgeted for this project and staff is recommending approval. <br />Action Required of Council: <br />Consider approval or other action to utilize the BuyBoard contract 430-13 for equipment and installation through <br />CAP Fleet Upfitters. <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />Corby D.
