Subsequent to this meeting, as required by Chapter 82, Article VIII of the Code of Ordinances, a notice was published twice in the Bay Area Observer. Also, certified and regular mail letters (including the inspection report, voluntary consent to demolish form and public notice) were mailed to the building owners. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive property owner, citizen and staff comments as to why the building(s) should or should not be condemned and demolished. Following the close of the hearing, Council will be asked to consider condemnation of the structure(s). The Board recommends passage of a condemnation ordinance for the dangerous structure(s) located at 330 Bayside Dr. The Finance Department has confirmed $60,000.00 in budgeted funds.
