BUSINESS. BY THE BAY. APPLICATION PROCESS Determine eligibility: Discuss project plans with the Economic Development 1. Coordinator, and the Coordinator will set up a pre-development meeting with the EGEC. Complete the application and sign the agreement form. Each grant application must 2. include the following: A scaled drawing by the project architect or design professional of all the work a. to be completed. Samples -- i.e. paint samples, fabric swatches, sign material, etc. -- that will b. enable the EGEC to envision the finished project. Three (3) itemized work estimates on all project work from contractors or c. project architects. Self-contracted work will be reimbursed for actual legitimate expenses, excluding labor. Photographs of the buildings exterior. The Applicant shall be required to d. provide before and after photographs of the building before the reimbursement grant can be awarded. For the initial application, before photographs will suffice, but afte photographs of the completed project must be submitted before the grant may be considered for reimbursement.
