Two Divisions requested that the tractors 80-40 and 77-55 be upgraded to cab with A/C. 71-76 is being upgraded to a larger tractor for routine right-of-way mowing and to serve as back up to the larger tractors in the fleet. Sealed Bid #16006 was opened and read on Tuesday, January 12, 2:00 p.m. The bid was advertised in the Bay Area Observer and posted to PublicPurchase.com. Twenty three vendors were notified of the bid and eleven downloaded the documents. The budget shortfall for 77-55 is made up from unit 77-61 Bushhog purchase $3,407.00 under budget. The budget shortfall for 71-76 is made up from 71-36 Tractor and slope mower purchase $36,033.84 under budget. Action Required by Council: Consider approval or other action to award Bid No. 16006 to Lansdowne Moody for the purchase of three (3) tractors in the amount of $111,082.00 including the trade-in allowance. Consider approval or other action to award Bid No. 16006 to Wowco for the purchase of one (1) zero turn mower in the amount of $10,965.00 including the trade-in allowance.
