Weems owner, who is seeking approval of a <br />Zone Change from the General Commercial (GC) zoning district to the Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) zoning district. The proposed zone change would allow for the <br />development of an industrial office/warehouse building on the site. The property in <br />th <br />question is located at the NE corner of S. 16 St. and the W. The City <br />Council heard the item at their May 13, 2019 meeting where a motion to deny the item <br />was upheld by a vote of 5-4. <br /> <br />This request is in conjunction with a request for a Special Conditional Use Permit <br />(SCUP) to allow for the construction of a 109,000 square foot industrial facility.
