When the individual is alone while operating a personally owned or City owned or leased <br />vehicle or piece of equipment while carrying out City-related business. Individuals riding <br />together in a vehicle must wear face coverings. Steps should be taken to limit the frequency <br />and duration of sharing a vehicle as much as operationally feasible. <br /> <br />When the individual has a medical condition or disability that prevents the wearing of a face <br />covering. <br /> <br />When the individual is consuming food or drink. <br /> <br />When the individual is obtaining a service that requires temporary removal of the face covering <br />for security surveillance, screening, but only to the extent necessary for the temporary <br />removal. <br /> <br />When the individual is in a swimming pool. <br /> <br />When the individual is voting, assisting a voter, serving as a poll watcher, or actively <br />administering an election, but wearing a face mask is strongly encouraged. <br /> <br />When the individual is actively providing or obtaining access to religious worship, but wearing a <br />face covering is strongly encouraged. <br /> <br />When the individual is giving a speech for broadcast or to an audience. <br />The requirement of the use of face coverings is not intended to lessen the practice of other risk <br />mitigation steps for individuals on City property. While on City property, all individuals are encouraged <br />to: <br /> <br />Practice social distancing by maintaining six (6) feet of distance between yourself and others. <br /> <br />Practice good hygiene to prevent the spread of viruses by washing hands frequently with soap <br />and water. In the absence of soap and water use hand sanitizer with at least a 60% alcohol <br />content level. <br /> <br />Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as much as possible. <br /> <br />Avoid crowds and large gatherings, especially indoors. <br /> <br />If you are experiencing symptoms of active viruses, stay home as much as possible. Do not <br />enter City property if you are sick, or suspect you may be sick. <br />Enforcement <br />This policy will be effective immediately and shall remain in effect until rescinded by City Council. <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
