Rigby, Mayor\] <br /> <br />Without objection, the Council supported letters be sent from the Mayor on behalf of the Council in opposition to SB <br />1661, SB 10, HB 1869, HB 753, HB 4170, and HB 330. <br />8.REPORTS <br />Receive report on the La Porte Development Corporation meeting. \[Councilperson Chuck Engelken <br />a.\] <br /> <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Engelken announced the Corporation approved the amendment to the Campise agreement and a <br />façade enhancement grant for Snider Transmission, and selected utility box mini-mural images. <br />9.ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br /> City Council meeting, May 10 <br /> City Council meeting, May 24 <br />City Manager Corby Alexander said there were no reports. <br />10. COUNCIL COMMENTS Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of community <br />interest; and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy from the Mayor, <br />Councilmembers, and City staff, for which no formal action will be discussed or taken. <br /> <br />Councilpersons expressed interest in the PID; congratulated those who were recognized at the beginning of the <br />meeting; thanked Ray Mayo for saving the City a significant amount of money on the contracts in the consent agenda <br />this evening; and thanked everyone who worked on the Sylvan Beach Festival and shared how successful <br />it was, and the Mayor discussed his testimony before the Texas Legislature last week. <br /> <br />11.
