Phase I was completed in 2011 and included a 28 acre regional <br />detention basin south of W. Main Street. Phase II consists of 1.3 miles of bayou widening between <br />W. Main and Sens Road. While the entire project is not contemplated in the upcoming budget, the <br />project scope will be derived from the 1.5 million of funds available from the grant. The current scope <br />will provide engineering of the entire project as well as acquisition and construction of approximately <br />1000 linear feet working northward from W. Main Street. Tree mitigation survivability contract signed <br />for environmental clearance to proceed with ROW acquisition. <br /> <br />Phase III – This project will fund construction of Phase III of Little Cedar Bayou Drainage <br />improvements, from Madison Street to Sens Road, including a drainage analysis to evaluate potential <br />improvements to mitigate flooding along H Street. <br /> <br />F IRST Q UARTER FY 20-21 <br />Professional services contract approved at the December 14, 2020 City Council meeting. Notice to <br />proceed is expected to be issued by mid-January 2021. Harris County Flood Control District <br />(HCFCD) is expected to present an ILA to Commissioner's Court in January 2021 for the 50/50 cost <br />share of the F216 scope of work. <br /> <br />S ECOND Q UARTER FY 20-21 <br />Design consultant is coordinating with HCFCD to kick-off existing conditions model. <br />22 <br /> <br />
