At that time, $20,000 was originally budgeted to address some of the security deficiencies that <br />were identified by the assessment. Initial plans were to secure and relocate the Inspections customer <br />service counter to the front lobby. After engaging an architect to provide plans for this relocation, it <br />became clear that additional changes were necessary. The project scope allows the City to enhance <br />the customer service experience by consolidating all customer related services in the front lobby, <br />allows staff to be more secure, and provides for relocation of staff that are currently working in remote <br />City facilities. The additional funding requested in FY17 budget added to those that have been <br />previously allocated and the City’s General Fund contingency account. <br /> <br />Future Operating Impact: None. The building footprint remains unchanged. <br /> <br />F IRST Q UARTER FY 20-21 <br />These funds will be combined with the AD0006 – City Hall Conference Room Renovation Project. <br /> <br />S ECOND Q UARTER FY20-21 <br />No activity during the second quarter. <br /> <br />37 <br /> <br />
