Our contract with Deer Park <br />Animal Hospital ended on September 30, 2021, but we have continued operating under <br />the pricing on the expired agreement. <br />The City of La Porte Bid #22002 for Veterinary Services was advertised in the Bay Area <br />Observer on September 16, 2021 and September 23, 2021, posted on Public Purchase <br />All local Veterinary Clinics were notified that the Bid was posted <br />by email from the Purchasing Department.Below is the scope and detailed <br />specifications for the bid: <br />Medications to be provided only for shelter owned animals. <br />Minimum Service Requirements: <br />All services are to be provided in accordance with the requirements of the State <br />of Texas Veterinary Licensing Board. Current licenses and any other required <br />documentation to operate in Texas must be provided with the offer. <br />Test dogs for heartworms <br />Test cats for feline HIV and/or leukemia (Feline Combo) <br />Administerheartworm preventative for non-positive dogs <br />Treatment on dogs that are positive for heartworms <br />Examine and treatdog/cats for minor issues including, but not limited to manage, <br />skin allergies, kennel cough, etc. <br />Provide four to eight hours once each week onsite at the City of La Porte <br />Adoption Center and Animal Shelter, located at 10901 Spencer Highway, La <br />Porte, Texas 77571. <br /> <br />
