<br />5)Continue to add shade structures to all existing and future park <br />should consist of a combination of playscape shade structures, i <br />picnic shelters, and larger pavilions (which provide more shade <br />opportunities for socialization, among other things). <br />6)Improve on-site and off-site accessibility to each park by developing a <br />sidewalk improvement program to repair, replace, or install new <br />sidewalks, crosswalks, and curb cuts, in high pedestrian use <br />neighborhoods immediately surrounding the parks, schools, and ot <br />community facilities. <br />7)Incorporate on-site handicap accessible walking trails that create a loop <br />around the edge of each park and connect the important amenities <br />within the park, so that users can utilize these trails for walk <br />biking, roller blading, pushing strollers, among other things.
