The Spencer Highway intersection transition will be able to accommodate either option. <br />Adequate drainage facilities and/or right-of--way exist to provide drainage outfall locations for the entire <br />roadway. <br />Recommendations - (Option 2) <br />South'/2 of the Project <br />For the south one-half of the roadway, staff concurs with the 100' right-of--way width with the additiona140' <br />coming off the west side of the private road. <br />North % of the Project <br />Because of the expediency, access to and from existing homes, cost and complicated/time consuming right-of- <br />way acquisitions, staff suggests the existing 60' right-of--way. <br />The Spencer Highway intersection transition has $190,000 budgeted for it and could be constructed as phase 1 <br />of the Canada Road project although this transition project would require additional land acquisition. <br />However, if the full Canada Road project is being contemplated for the near future, staff is recommending <br />using the current amount budgeted to begin land acquisition, engineering. and surveying and then construct <br />Canada Road as a single project. <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />1 <br />(18) <br />~~ <br />
