<br />Councilman Rigby indicated he would like to discuss the Employee of the Quarter/Year and the Manager <br />of the Year program. The following is currently in place for our employees. <br /> <br />Emplovee of the Quarter <br /> <br />Supervisors, Managers and/or Directors nominate employees from their department by completing an <br />Employee of the Quarter nomination form and submitting it to Human Resources. Human Resources <br />compiles all of the nomination forms for the Employee Rewards Committee to review. The Committee <br />meets to vote for the Employee of the Quarter. The Employee of the Quarter is given the option of being <br />presented with a plaque at a City Council Meeting or in front of their peers. In addition to the plaque, <br />employees are also rewarded with a $25 gift card to a local vendor of their choice. <br /> <br />Employee of the Year <br /> <br />The Employee of the Year is chosen from the Employees of the Quarter for that year. All of the <br />nomination forms that were submitted for those employees are compiled and sent to the Employee <br />Rewards Committee. The Committee votes for the Employee of the Year. Once chosen, the employee is <br />given the option of being presented with a plaque at a City Council meeting or in front of their peers. <br />The Employee of the Year is rewarded with a $50 gift card to a local vendor of their choice. <br /> <br />ManaRer of the Year <br /> <br />Directors nominate any supervisor or manager by completing a Manager of the Year nomination form <br />and submitting it to Human Resources. At the end of the year, all of the nomination forms are compiled <br />and sent to the Employee Rewards Committee and they vote for the Manager of the Year. The Manager <br />of the Year is also given the option of being presented with a plaque at the City Council meeting or being <br />presented with their plaque in front of their peers. In addition to the plaque, the employee is also given <br />a $50 gift card to a local vendor of their choice. <br /> <br />The Employee Rewards Committee consists of the followinR employees: <br /> <br />EMS Chief <br /> <br />Equipment Services Superintendent <br /> <br />Park Maintenance Superintendent <br /> <br />Assistant Police Chief <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager <br />
