Box 1115 La Porte, Texas 77571 Dear Mayor Meza: Amendment No. 1 to the Grant Agreement for Project No. 5-48-0127-02 at La Porte Municipal Airport has been authorized. This Amendment will revise the project work description to include construction of a parallel taxiway for runway 4-22. The amount of the Grant Agreement is not increased by this Amendment. Enclosed are the original and five copies of this Amendment. If the terms as stated in the Amendment are satisfactory, the Amendment should be accepted and executed by the officials duly designated to take such action by the governing body of the City of La Porte. • Regulations require that the resolution of the sponsor's governing body authorizing execution of the Amendment either set forth at length the terms of the Amendment or attach copies thereto and incorporate them by reference in the resolution. To facilitate your compliance with this requirement, we are enclosing additional unsigned copies of the Amendment for incorporation in the resolution. After execution on the part of the sponsor, the original and four (4) copies of the Amendment and three (3) certified copies of the resolution should be delivered to the Chief, Houston Airports District Office, Federal Aviation Administration, 8800 Paul B. Koonce Drive, Room 225, Houston, Texas 77061. Regulations pertaining to the Airport and Airway Development Act require that the Amendment be accepted or rejected within 60 days, except that the Chief, Houston Airports District Office may, in writing, extend such time for acceptance.
