An inspection by <br />the Public Works Department and our project representative <br />found everything in order and satisfactory. <br />Extra work items are listed separately. They are 1) 364 <br />feet of service lines added across 16th Street; 2) lowering <br />the 16" water line on "A" Street at 16th Street t~hich was <br />in the vray; and 3) emergency repair of the water line at <br />16th Street and Spencer Highway. <br />The total job including the extras cost $89,703.43, an <br />underrun of $1,972.89. The reason for the underrun was <br />good weather so that much less road shell was required <br />and no timber was used for shoring and left in the trench. <br />Deducting previous payments of $63,019.69 leaves a final <br />payment of $26,683.74 which we recommend to be paid at <br />this time. <br />a-Y-^-~' <br />James P.
