I would <br />like you to consider the proposed plans for a vault, which <br />we feel essential to the security of our business. <br />As you undoubtedly know from the cover of your new Clear Lake <br />Area phone directory, among other things, some of our artists <br />• are rapidly gaining fame. That, with the resulting increase in <br />pricb of their art, and the fact that we have the largest <br />selection of aulthentic Indian jewelry in the Houston area, <br />demands that we improve our security. <br />We have decided that a burglar and fire proof vault is essential. <br />This woulq, permit storage of several filing cabinets full of <br />vital records, our jewelry and all of our more expensive paintings; <br />altho-u - the Kroehnke originals are now moderately priced their <br />predicted value will soon be five to ten times the present amount. <br />The vault must be accessible from the gallery, but cannot be <br />constructed inside the gallery since it must have its own heavy <br />foundation, and heavily reinforced concrete walls. It cannot <br />be attached directly since its floor height requirement and vault <br />door design would interfere with floor of existing second floor <br />and ceiling of first floor. <br />The enclosed drawing illustrates our proposed vault <br />which is feasible in all respects, and would satisfy <br />As the drawing illustrates, its nearest proximity to <br />property would be 7 ft. farther from the alley than <br />house - and gallery. <br />Your consideration will be appreciated. <br />.
