r� <br />• <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF <br />THE ALLEY IN BLOCK ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN <br />(1113), IN THE TOWN OF LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. <br />WHEREAS, the North fifty feet (N.501) of the North-South <br />alley in Block One Thousand One Hundred and Thirteen (1113), <br />Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, being a tract of land <br />16' x 501, adjacent to Lots Twelve (12), Thirteen (13), <br />Thirty (30), and Thirty-one (31), in Block One Thousand One <br />Hundred and Thirteen (1113), Town of La Porte, Harris County, <br />Texas, has never been opened or used as a public thorough- <br />fare, and the public utilities now making use of said portion <br />of such alley have all given their written consent for its <br />closing; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte <br />has determined and does hereby find, determine and declare <br />that the hereinafter described portion of the said alley <br />is not suitable, needed, or beneficial to the public as <br />a public alley, and should be vacated, abandoned and perma- <br />nently closed; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br />Section 1. That the North fifty feet (N.501) of the <br />North-South alley in Block One Thousand One Hundred and <br />Thirteen (1113), Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, <br />is hereby permanently vacated, abandoned and closed by the <br />City of La Porte. <br />Section 2.
