<br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by, among anc betkeen
<br />the Cities of Alvin, Bayto~+~n, Bellaire, Bunker Hill 1'illa~e, Leer
<br />Park, E1 Lago, Friendsti;ood, Galena Park', Galveston, Hunter's
<br />Creek tillage, Jacinto City, Jersey Village, }:atv, La Porte, Le;.~ax,
<br />~fisscuri City, Morgan's Point, Nassau Bay, Pasadena, Pine~• Poi::t
<br />Village, Seabrook, Shoreacres, South Houston, Southside Place,
<br />Spring Valley, Stafford, Ta;~lor Lake Village, Tomball, l~~cbster,
<br />and l~est-University Place and the counties of Harris and Galveston,
<br />all parties being municipal corporations or count~• soverrr::er~ts duly
<br />organized and existing under the.la~;s of the State of Texas, act-
<br />ing herein by and through their respective Manors or County Judges
<br />duly authorized to so act by ordinance or resolution duly passed
<br />by said Cities or Counties.
<br />titi'ITNESSETH
<br />1~}HEREAS, Article 999b, TEX.REV.CIV.STAT.ANK., authorizes a
<br />county or municipality by resolution of its governing bod~• to
<br />enter into an agreement ~+lith and- neighboring municipality' or
<br />contiguous county for the formation of a mutual aid lay; enforce-
<br />,,,, _ ment task force to cooperate in the investigation of criminal
<br />activity and enforcement of the la~~s of this State, and
<br />IiHEREAS~, the Cities of Alvin, Baytoti;n, Bellaire, Bunker Hill
<br />' Village, Deer Park, El Lago, Friends+-god, Galena Park, Gal~•eston,
<br />Hunter's Creek Village, Jacinto City, Jersey 1'illare, Kat~•,
<br />LaPorte, Lomax, Missouri City, Dforgan `s Point, \assau Ba~•, Pasadena, ~
<br />Piney Point Village, Seabrook, Shoreacres, South Houston, Southside
<br />• Place, Spring Valley, Stafford, Taylor Lake Pillage, Tor.;ball,
