This street <br /> is to be closed so that Blocks 1122 and 1121 be contiguous. With this street closed, <br /> the design and layout of buildings for an apartment project will be enhanced <br /> and the land will be used more efficientl y. <br />e Enclosed with this appl ication please find the following items which should make <br /> the appl ication complete: <br /> 1. A recent survey of Blocks 1122, 1121 and 1160 showing the street <br /> in Block 1122. <br /> 2. An opinion letter from an attorney concerning the appl icanf's good <br /> fee simple title. <br /> 3. A copy of the warranty deed and a copy of the owner's title pol icy, <br /> recently updated. <br /> 4. A cashier's check for $100.00 payable to the city as the application <br /> fee. <br /> 5. The hold harmless statement by the appl icant as required. <br /> Since alleys in Blocks 1121 and 1160 have previousl y been closed by this same <br /> applicant it is believed this precedent will have a bearing on this application. <br /> The appl icant has taken the I iberty to contact an appraiser, Mr, Otis Graham <br /> approved by the city. <br /> He estimates a cost of $300.00 for his service of appraising this street.
