Inspection~theri puts the required informati -' on on the Utility verification form (UVF) 3. 1'he UVF is sent to Public Works for co nfirmation of utility availability. UVF should be returned to the Inspection Dept. within five (5) working days. 4. The UVF is returned to Inspection. • 5. If the utilities are available; Inspection collects the fro nt foot fee, tap fees, and Inspection fees: ' ~~ A. Money is sent to accounting B. Inspection assigns a work order to the job. C. • The required copies of the work order is sent~to Public Works. . D.. The completed work is returned to Inspection. 5. If Utilities are not available to said property; Inspection will contact the builder/contractor. This will verify that he desires to continue with the request. If the builder/contractor desires ~. to continue the request, he must give the Inspection Dept.. an Engineering Deposit at this time. This deposit is applied to • the Engineering fees on the agreement and is non-refundable if the builder/contractor decides not to continue after the estimate • is made. Inspection will put the required information on the ~--~ Utility Extension Form (UEF). A. Engineering will review the job and input any required design changes or other requirements. Engineering will return to Inspection. g..: The U~ is sent to Public-Works for completion including estimated charges of said extension. This should be com- pleted within five :;?'r days. The UE£ is ti r-.i z-ei~urned to Inspection. C. Inspection will review the estimate and contact the builder/ contractor to inform huh, of the .estimate and verify continuing the request. D. Inspection will then collect the estimated fee and complete the legal extension agreement for later presentation to Council. E. A copy of all pertinent paperwork is iven to t $ he City Secretary for placement on a council agenda, for both a workshop and a regular meeting. .
