''''';''''.~...,..~~ ''''''<^.t....'.r'''''''''''.;"'''._~. ,.-~.~".,""''''_.. <br />"" , <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />c, <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />June 30, 1981 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Request for Rezoning Parts of Block 327 - Decker McKim <br /> <br />.. -- <br />Planning and Zoning met on June 29, 1981, to consider a <br />request by Decker McKim for rezoning Lots 9, 10, and 13 through <br />24, Block 327 from Commercial to Industrial. <br /> <br />The proposed use is for a trucking terminal operation which <br />would act as a temporary depot for traffic to Barbour's Cut <br />Terminal. The trucks would be disconnected from the trailers and <br />trailers could be shuttled to the terminal when conditions were <br />less crowded. <br /> <br />The request is for the southern half (excluding two lots) <br />of Block 327, which is on the southwest corner of North Broadway <br />and Barbour's Cut Boulevard. <br /> <br />After lengthy discussion, Planning and Zoning recommends <br />that the request for rezoning be denied.
