<br />:~~October 30, 1980, concerning the 192,000 of Federal Urban Aid -
<br />. .System Program funds.
<br />I have this date met with Commissioner Jim Fonteno and •~
<br />County Engineer Dick Doss concerning this project. The result
<br />of our meeting dictates that the City of La Porte request that
<br />your department remove the bridge project from consideration.
<br />In the alternative, the City of La Porte hereby request that
<br />the above referenced 192,000 be reprogramed into a traffic
<br />signalization project.
<br />The locations of signal improvement are as follows.
<br />The intersection of Main Street (Spencer Highway),
<br />Broadway and San Jacinto Streets, commonly referred
<br />to as Five Points.
<br />The intersection of Main Street (Spencer Highway) and
<br />Second Street. -
<br />The intersection of Main Street (Spencer Highway) and
<br />Fourth Street. ~ ~ ~ . .
