O. c, <br /> November 24, 1982 <br /> BY MESSENGER <br /> City of LaPorte <br /> LaPorte, Texas <br /> Attention: Mrs. Betty Waters, <br /> City Secretary <br /> Ladies and Gentlemen: <br /> Reference is made to that certain Industrial <br /> . District Agreement between the City of Laporte and Union <br /> Carbide Corporation for the six-year term commencing <br /> January 1, 1981. <br /> The initial improvements to the property described <br /> in said Industrial District Agreement will be completed and <br /> placed in use prior to December 3l, 1982. Accordingly, on <br /> behalf of Union Carbide Corporation, we hereby respectfully <br /> petition the City of LaPorte to disannex and annex portions <br /> of such property so that 25% of the total value of such <br /> property and the improvements thereon shall be annexed to <br /> the City of LaPorte. <br /> Enclosed herewith is a plant plot plan showing <br /> the layout of the initial improvements, being the shaded <br /> area labeled Plant #7. The area on the plant plot plan <br /> enclosed by red lines encompasses 25% of the tital value of <br /> such property and the initial improvements thereon. Union <br /> Carbide Corporation will shortly furnish a survey of such <br /> area by a registered surveyor for use in the disannexation <br /> ordinance. <br /> . <br />
