Sizinrj of all <br />extensions shall be designated and/or ap- <br />proved the City of La Porte Engineering <br />Del_>t. <br />2. The minimum size line shall be eight inches <br />in diameter unless specific written auth- <br />orization is granted by the City of. La <br />Porte T,ngi neeri.ng Dept. Tn order to in- <br />sure proper sizing a letter outlining the <br />expected utility demands may he required <br />by the City of La Porte. <br />3. All connections to the 21" & 36" trunk <br />mains shall be interior drop -connections <br />at manholes approved by the City of La Porte <br />TEngineering Dept. <br />Where interior lines ar( iesi.gnateci, a per- <br />manent utility easement -0-15 feet in width <br />shall he Aran ted to the City of La Porte. <br />The lDermanen t easement (s) and temporary <br />working easeinent(s) shall he (jranted prior <br />to any construction. <br />5. The person or firm requesting this Extension <br />mus t : <br />(a) execute the CityI s stan lard utility <br />extension agreement <br />(b) retain a Professional fncjineer (re(jis- <br />tered with the State of 'Texas) to pre- <br />pare plans and specifications <br />(c) submit plans and specifications for <br />review and approval. <br />(d) competitively bid or retain a con- <br />tractor approved by the (' i ty of La <br />Porte Engineeri nq Dept. <br />6.
