Ray <br />SUBJECT: Sealed Bid: Concession Stand for Lomax Rodeo Arena <br />Advertised sealed bids for the contract construction of a concession stand <br />at 1525 Lomax School Road (Lomax Rodeo Arena) were opened and tabulated <br />April 4. 1983. A total of $16,000 is presently appropriated in the 1982-83 <br />Capital Improvement Budget to complete this project. <br />Five local contractors were invited to bid but only two bids were received. <br />Low bid of $33,000 was submitted by Moore & Moore General Contractors of <br />La Porte with an estimated completion time of sixty (60) days. <br />I will abstain from making any recommendation at this time due to the <br />lack of unencumbered funds to complete this project.
