• . <br />6.2 <br />BAYSHORE COMMUi1IT1' DEVEL,OPNIEL`]T CORPOPATION <br />JOB DESCRIPTION <br />Position Title: <br />Salary: <br />Position Stmffnarv: <br />Dispatcher-Driver <br />$11,560 <br />Job CL: IV-2 <br />Departrnent: Target Area Board <br />To coordinate and i~lement transportation activities involved in the Transpor- <br />tation Services Project. Duties include recording movement, locations and <br />scheduling of vehicle usage and routing, as well as trip doctm~entations, eligi- <br />bility detP,-r„~na bons, operational reporting and driving residents to needed ap- <br />pointments, services and activities. <br />Primary Duties: <br />1. Dispatches all vehicle to trips considering the following <br />factors: <br />a. Length and purpose of trip <br />b. Efficient routing <br />c. Resident passenger requirements <br />d. Trip activators and generators <br />2. Receives, screens, logs all transportation requests. <br />3. Prepares scheduling for vehicle/drivers. <br />4. Make recommendations on route changes, accidents, any other relevant <br />operational problems. <br />5. Records time of departure, destination, expected time frames of trip <br />starting and completion. <br />6. Prepares necessary operational reports and maintains program <br />documentation. <br />7. Drives vans and buses, as needed to transport eligible neighborhood resi- <br />:•.- dents to varouis services, programs and Agencies. <br />8. Assists passenger(s) in getting on and off the vehicle. <br />9. P~a]ces daily inspections of vehicle for adequate gas, oil, water, fluids, <br />etc., and cleans vehicle on a regular basis. <br />10.
