<br />I. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />, Page 20 <br /> <br />might adequately provide the necessary men and equipment to answer <br /> <br />said calls. <br /> <br /> <br />(e) In the event a wrecker service company is requested by the <br /> <br /> <br />Police Department to make a call and the company agrees to make said <br /> <br /> <br />call then the company shall proceed immediately to the scene where <br /> <br />it is directed and shall be given a reasonable length of time in <br /> <br /> <br />which to reach said location. If the wrecker service company answer- <br /> <br />ing said call has not reached said location within a reasonaq~e length <br /> <br />of time then the officer at the scene may proceed to call the next <br /> <br /> <br />wrecker service company on the list and that company shall have <br /> <br /> <br />priority over that particular call. In the event that the wrecker <br /> <br />service company called fails to comply with the provisions of the <br /> <br /> <br />ordinance by proceeding to the designated place wi thin the time <br /> <br /> <br />specified above then this wrecker service company shall be removed <br /> <br />from the top of the list and placed at the bottom of the list. <br /> <br />Sec. 6-20. Specifications and Required Equipment. <br /> <br /> <br />(a) Minimum Size". Each auto wrecker and emergency auto wrecker <br /> <br /> <br />shall not be less than one (1) ton in size and shall be equipped <br /> <br /> <br />with booster brakes. <br /> <br />(b) Standards of Winch. Each auto wrecker ':lnd emergency auto <br /> <br /> <br />wrecker shall be equipped with a power take-off operated winch, <br /> <br />winch line and boom, with a factory rated lifting capacity (or city <br /> <br />tested capacity) of not less than five thousand (5,000) pounds, <br /> <br /> <br />single line capacity. The winch line shall be three-eights (3/8) <br /> <br /> <br />inch in diameter. <br /> <br />(c) Flashing Light. Each auto wrecker and <br /> <br /> <br />wrecker shall have a flashing light of at least <br /> <br /> <br />in diameter on the top of the cab, <br /> <br />State law, visible from both the <br /> <br />(d) Wheels and Tires. Each auto wrecker and <br /> <br />as prescribed <br />front and rear <br /> <br />emergency auto <br /> <br />four ( 4) inches <br /> <br /> <br />or permitted by <br /> <br />of the truck. <br /> <br /> <br />emergency auto <br /> <br />e :ll <br />
