BOX M <br />LAPORTE,TEXAS 77571 <br />• Mr. Jerry Hodge <br />Director of Public Works <br />City of La Porte <br />June 11, 1984 <br />Dear Mr. Hodge: <br />As per your instruction, we have prepared an estimated cost for the follow- <br />ing prof essional surveying services regarding the La Porte Municipal Airport <br />which is approximately 300 acres in the W. M. Jones Survey, A-482. <br />The boundary survey of the 300 acre tract will require substantial work <br />to re-establish the boundaries. The Southwest corner and Southeast corner have <br />been obliterated or lost due to construction over the years. The Northwest <br />and Northeast corners of the Airport do not exist except for the 8" Fence corner <br />post which are approximate. The boundary survey will include locating the existing <br />Humble Pipeline right-of-way and preparing a survey plat to indicate the results <br />of our survey. You also requested surveying each lease site and locating the <br />runway and taxiways. <br />In order to survey the lease sites, it would be necessary to first locate <br />• the centerline of the existing runways and taxiways to make certain that the <br />lease sites do not extend into the present clear zones. All corners of the <br />lease site and Airport boundary will be monumented with 5/8 inch iron rods 33± <br />inches in length. As per your instructions, no improvements will be located <br />are shown other than the centerline of existing runways and taxiways. , <br />The estimated cost to perform this professional service is as follows: <br />1. Boundary Survey (300± Acres) @ $6,000.00 <br />2. Location of Runways and Taxiways @ $2,200.00 <br />• 3.
