Council considered approving a contract with Turner Collie & <br />Braden for professional services on the EPA/City Step III <br />sanitary sewer rehabilitation project. <br />Director of Community Development John Joerns briefly <br />explained the contract, which had been previously discussed at <br />a workshop several weeks ago. <br />Motion was made by COU cilperso~ Matuszak to approve the <br />contract with Turner Collie &_Braden for professional services <br />on the EPA/City Step III sanitarv sewer r,e~iabilitation <br />ro'ect. Second by Councilperson Westergren. The motion <br />• carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Walker, Matuszak, Waters, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />15. Council considered setting a date for a public hearing for <br />rezoning lots 161 and 162, block 10, section 2 of Spenwick <br />place from residential to commercial. <br />Councilperson Waters recommended July 8 as the date for this <br />public hearing. ' <br />16. Administrative Reports <br />The City Manager reminded everyone that Saturday is the day to <br />vote on the bonds. . <br />The Mayor then read a proclamation for Emancipation Week, <br />which was accepted by Councilperson Waters, Chief Freeman, and <br />Travis Parker. <br />17. Council Action: Councilpersons Matuszak, Skelton, Westergren <br />and Mayor Malone brought items to Council's attention. <br />City Manager Owen requested an executive session on a legal <br />• matter, and Mayor Malone requested an executive session on <br />personnel. <br /> <br /> <br />
