FEE ESTIMATE • • 4 Compensation for our Basic Services shall be a Stipulated Sum of Eighteen Thousand dollars ($18,OJ0.00). However, the amount of $2,400 paid by the City of La Porte to Rey de la Reza AIA~Architects for Conceptual Design Services for this project (RE: Letter of agreement from Joel H. Albrecht, Director of Community Development, City of La Porte, dated September 14, 1987) shall be deducted from the Stipulated Sum. Therefore the compensation shall be reduced to a Stipulated Sum of Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred dollars ($15,600.00). Payments shall be made on a monthly basis in proportion to the work completed. The appropriation of the Total Basic Compensation is to be according to the following percentages: DESIGN PHASE 35% or $ 5,460.00 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS & BIDDING PHASE 45% or $ 7,020.00 CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION PHASE 20% or $ 3,120.00 REIMBURSABLES: We will be reimbursed, at direct expense plus 10%, out-of-pocket expenses incurred by us directly on this project. This shall include: Reproduction costs prints, sepias, film possitives, xerography, and photography) of drawings and speci- fications, including 5 sets of the final documents and a set of record reproducible drawings; automobile travel at $0.25 per mile. The total reimbursable expenses outlined shall not exceed $2,000.00. Cost for additional Bid Sets of drawings and specifications will be extra and will be purchased by the bidders. Additional sets required by the City will be approximately $42.00 each. We shall provide Additional Services not included in our Basic Services if authorized in writing by the Owner. Such services are itemized in Article 3 of the "Terms and Conditions of Agreement between Owner and Architect". Compensation for these Additional Services shall be computed as follows: 1. Principal's time at the fixed rate of $60.00 per hour. 2. Supervisory time at the fixed rate of $40.00 per hour. Supervisory personne l include: Project Manager & Project Architect. 3. Technical level time at the fixed rate of $30.00 per hour. Technical personnel include: Asst. Des igner and Draftsman. 4. Clerical level time at the fixed rate of $25.00 per hour.
