ORDINANCE NO. 915-Z <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION 18-a-3 OF ORDINANCE NO. <br />915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER 18-A OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, DATED NOVEMBER 25, 1975, <br />TO CONSTRUCT AN 8-INCH PIPE LINE FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF HYDROGEN; <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAPORTE: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte has <br />received an application dated , from UNION CARBIDE <br />CORPORATION, requesting a permit under Section 18-A-3 of Ordinance <br />915, being Chapter 18-A of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />La Porte, to construct and operate its 8-inch pipe line for the <br />transportation of hydrogen, crossing the City of La Porte, all as <br />shown on said application. The application of UNION CARBIDE <br />CORPORATION has been reviewed by the City's Director of Public <br />Works, who has found that said application meets all requirements of <br />said Ordinance No. 915, and has recommended its approval. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby <br />approves the applicaton of UNION CARBIDE CORPORATION, dated <br />, and this Ordinance shall constitute a permit to <br />UNION CARBIDE CORPORATION to operate said pipe line within the City <br />of La Porte, all in conformance with the requirements of said <br />Ordinance No. 915. <br />Section 3.
