These were <br />budgeted items and low bid was Jim Ball International. <br /> <br />Motion was made b Counci1person Westergren to accept the low <br />bid by Jim Ball International in the amount of 11,320.34 for <br />two diesel tractors and two mowers. Second by Counci1person <br />Skelton. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 2 nays. <br /> <br />.J <br /> <br />Ayes: Counci1persons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Pfeiffer, <br />Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: Councilpersons Graves and Gay <br /> <br />10. Council considered Change Order #1 - Lomax Street and Drainage <br />Project, adding construction of Monument Road and subgrade <br />preparation for Deaf Smith and Santa Anna Lane to McKey Con- <br />struction Project, a total of $74,300.00. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Counci1person Matuszak to approve Change <br />Order #1 - Lomax Street and Drainage Project. Second by <br />Counci1person Westergren. The motion carried, 8 ayes, 0 nays, <br />and 1 abstain. <br /> <br />Ayes: Counci1persons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Graves, <br />Pfeiffer, Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: Counci1person Gay <br /> <br />11. Council considered annexation policies. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Counci1person Westergren that the Committee <br />and staff studying annexation have approval of City Council <br />to proceed with the various studies and research needed and to <br />authorize the City Manager to send a letter to BayMUD, since <br />they will need to hold an election August 2, informing them <br />that we are seriously looking into the annexation of that area. <br />Second by Counci1person Skelton.
