REQU~ FOR CITY COUNCIL AGENDA ~M <br />a <br />Agenda Date Requested: February 27, 1989 <br />Requested By: Louis Rigby Department: Purchasing <br />Report <br />Fund <br />Improvement <br />Exhibits: Letter From City of Baytown Purchasing <br />Interlocal Agreement <br />- SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION <br />Ordinance <br />The City of Baytown, through a cooperative purchasing program <br />with the Cities of La Porte and Seabrook, has completed the bid <br />process for the purchase of malathion. Low bid meeting <br />specifications was submitted by Van Waters & Rogers, Inc., for <br />$899.10 per 54 gallon drum. <br />Estimates for use in the City of La Porte, including Bay <br />Forest Golf Course, would be 13 drums for a total of $11,688.30. <br />Action Required by Council: <br />Approve interlocal agreement between the cities of La Porte, <br />Baytown, and Seabrook for the purchase of malathion. <br />Availability of Funds: <br />X General <br />Capital <br />Other <br />Account Number: <br />028-800-811-207 <br />001-700-701-207 <br />Resolution <br />Water/Wastewater <br />General Revenue Sharing <br />Funds Available: X YES NO <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />a laal~ <br />obert T.
