Aug. 26, 1985. <br />Sections 3(b) and 4 of the 1983 Act pro- <br />vide: <br />"Sec. 3(b). Any cooperative health unit, <br />organization, agency, or other coordinated <br />public health organization, by whatever <br />name called, which has heretofore been cre- <br />ated under any prior law of this state is <br />specifically validated and it shall, within one <br />year of the effective date of this Act, orga- <br />nize itself as shall be necessary to bring it <br />within the provisions of this Act. Such <br />entities may charge fees for services in <br />accordance with Section 4.08 of this Act <br />during such transition period. <br />"Sec. 4.
