The needs of communities for sound crisis man- <br />agement procedures that enhance public confidence in the <br />safety of their lives make the Community Alert Network a more <br />economical investment than ever before for all of their emer- <br />gency alerting needs. <br /> <br />This dependable service was recently used to help evacuate <br />communities along the Texas Gulf Coast during Hurricane <br />Gilbert and has been successfully implemented in several of <br />New York State's counties and cities.
