When Council <br />returned to the table, motion was made by Council person Waters <br />to approve the ?rofessional services aqreement with Winstead. <br />McGuire. Sechrest and Minick. Second by Councilperson Cooper. <br />The motion carried, 8 ayes and 1 nay. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />councilpersonswaters, Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Skelton, clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Councilperson Gay <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />12. Council considered awarding a bid for construction of an 8- <br />inch water line on Fairmont Parkway bridge at Little Cedar <br />Bayou. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to award the bid for <br />construction of an 8-inch water line on Fairmont Parkway <br />bridqe at Little Cedar Bayou to McKey Construction Company. <br />in the amount of $16.814.60. Second by Councilperson Gay. <br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />CouncilpersonsWaters, Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />13. Council considered awarding a bid for repair to wave pool at <br />Little Cedar Bayou Park. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council person McLauqhlin to award the bid <br />for repair to the wave pool at Little Cedar Bavou Park to T <br />& C Construction Co. Inc.. deletinq items 13 and 15. addinq <br />alternate 19 for waterproofinq. providinq a construction <br />continqencv of $3.800. and authorize funding for the Little <br />Cedar Bavou Park Construction Account in the amount of $19.169 <br />and the Fund 011 continqency Account in the amount of $22.820. <br />Second by Councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 9 ayes and <br />o nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />14. Administrative Reports: <br /> <br />The City Attorney clarified the reason for the date of the <br />runoff election, and explained the difference between self- <br />executing charter changes and actual charter changes which <br />would require voter approval. <br />
