<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />., <br /> <br /> <br />OCCUPANCY AGREEMENT <br /> <br />This agreement is entered into by and between the Confrontation <br /> <br />Church of God in Christ (hereinafter referred to as the "Church"), <br /> <br />and the City of La Porte, Texas, a municipal corporation, acting by <br /> <br />and through its City Manager (hereinafter referred to as the <br /> <br />"City"}. <br /> <br />, I. <br /> <br />Church agrees to provide 481 square feet of office space to City at <br /> <br />50l West Main Street, La Porte, Texas 77571. All utilities and <br /> <br />janitorial services necessary for the use of the said office space <br /> <br />shall be included at the sole expense of Church. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />For the above described services, City agrees to pay Church a rate <br /> <br />of $.95 per square foot of office space per month, or the sum of <br /> <br />$456.95 per month. Payments shall be made by the fifteenth day of <br /> <br />each month to Church, P.O. Box 1452, La Porte, Texas 77572-1452. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />This agreement is made upon the following expressed conditions and <br /> <br />limitations: <br /> <br />a. City shall have the right to sublease the premises to the Texas <br />Department of Human Services. All obligations of City <br />hereunder, shall be contingent upon performance of obligations <br />by the Texas Department of Human Services, in an occupancy <br />agreement between City and the Texas Department of Human <br />Services. <br /> <br />b. The premises sha11 be used solely for the purpose of <br />administration of programs by the Texas Department of Human <br />Services pursuant to state law, including but not limited to the <br />following programs: AFDC, Food Stamps, and Expended Medical <br />Programs. <br /> <br />c. Building maintenance to include, but not limited to, air <br />conditioning and heating, to be the responsibility of Church. <br />
