TEXAS 77572 <br /> <br />June 30, 1992 <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor Norman Malone and City Council <br />City of La Porte <br /> <br />Re: Rezoning Request R92-001 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Malone, <br /> <br />The La Porte Planning & Zoning Commission, at its June 18, 1992, Public Hearing and <br />regular meeting considered Rezoning Request #R92-001. This request seeks to have a <br />thirteen-plus acre tract rezoned from R-2 Mid Density Residential to Business Industrial. <br />The site is developed and operated as a trucking/warehousing terminal. The facility is <br />located north of Fairmont Parkway adjacent to Canada Road, and is described by the metes <br />and bounds description attached as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />It is the opinion of the Commission, granting this rezoning would compromise both the <br />intent and integrity of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
