<br />AUTOVENT 3000 <br />• <br />The Autvvent 3000 is designed as an automatic ventilator <br />used during CPR or respiratory arrest. This will assist the <br />patient with breathing when he is unable to do so on his own, or <br />needs assistance in breathing. It is a state-of-the-art piece of <br />equipment that provides reliable, time cycled ventilations with a <br />minimum amount of wasted oxygen. This system allows the EMS <br />attendant free hands to i:~rvvide better patient care. This unit <br />is completely portable and operates on the oxygen system already <br />installed in the EMS units. The design of the unit has been <br />based on the needs of the operator and of the patient. This unit <br />also meets or exceeds the standards for resuscitation set by the <br />American Heart Association (AHA). This unit features: <br />* Highly visible controls which allow the operator to focus <br />on the patient, <br />* An accurate and consistent oxygen driven system enclosed <br />in a high impact case. <br />* Additional protection provided by shuck absorbing bumper <br />cushions which also serve as visual indicators for the <br />hose attachments. <br />* Permits the patient their own respiratory effort and <br />takes over completely when needed without missing a beat. <br />* System designed for simple operation. <br />* Independent controls for adult and child patients that <br />can be adjusted quickly and monitored at a glance. <br />* This unit may be used with standard resuscitation <br />equipment already in use by the EMS. <br />
