<br /> SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION
<br /> ,Summary
<br /> ..,I.. The Planning & Zoning Commission, at its October 20, 1994, meeting, considered and
<br /> recommended approval of Special Conditional Use (SCU) Permit Request SCU94-003.
<br /> The permit Is requested for the purpose of allowing development of a mini-
<br /> warehouse/boat and RV storage facility to be located at 11230 West Main Street.
<br /> The October 20, Commission hearing constituted the first phase of the SCU review and
<br /> approval process. The final phase will be the December 12, Public Hearing to be
<br /> conducted by City Council. After closing the hearing, Council will consider approval of
<br /> the SCU Permit.
<br /> t In preparation for this City Council Public Hearing, staff has satisfied all public notice
<br /> ,.
<br /> requirements, including a mailout to the owners of all properties located within 200 feet
<br /> of the tract in question. A total of 9 notices were mailed. As of December 6, the date on
<br /> which this agenda request is being prepared, 3 replies have been received, all
<br /> recommending approval. If additional replies are received, they will be provided to
<br /> Council at the December 12, Public Hearing.
<br /> Recommendation
<br /> The Planning & Zoning Commission, by unanimous vote, has recommended approval of
<br /> SCU94-003, subject to specified conditions. Staff concurs with this recommendation.
