<br /> SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION,
<br /> Summarv
<br /> The Planning & Zoning Commission, at its November 17,1994, meeting, considered and
<br /> recommended approval of Special Conditional Use (SCU) Permit Request SCU94-004.
<br /> The permit has been requested for the freezer warehouse complex located at 502 North
<br /> Broadway. If approved, this permit will serve as an amendment to the SCU Permit that
<br /> currently governs facility operation. SCU94-Q04 is requested for the purpose of allowing
<br /> a portion of the facility to be operated as a separate business. The Commission's
<br /> November 17, Public Hearing constituted the first phase and the SCU review and approval
<br /> process. The final phase will be carried out in Council's December 12, Public Hearing.
<br /> After closing the hearing, Council will consider approval of SCU94,004.
<br />t In preparation for this City Council Public Hearing, staff has satisfied all public notice
<br />.'
<br /> requirements, including a mailout to the owners of all properties located within 200 feet
<br /> of the tract in question. A total of 47 notices were mailed. As of December, 6, the date
<br /> on which this agenda request Is being prepared, 3 replies have been received, all
<br /> recommending approval. If additional replies are received, they will be provided to
<br /> Council at the December 12, Public Hearing.
<br /> Recommendation
<br /> The Planning & Zoning Commission, by unanimous vote, has recommended approval of
<br /> SCU94-004, subject to specified conditions. Staff concurs with this recommendation.
