Aerial Photo of Surrounding Area <br /> <br />SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />City acquired Lot 5 Block 3, Section 2, Shady River after the BA YMUD annexation. The lot was to provide and <br />protect the City' lBccess to an existing sanitary sewer lift station on the banks of Taylor Bayou. Recently, the <br />adjacent property owner has expressed an interest in purchasing a portion of the lot that the City does not need. <br /> <br />Staff determined the area the City would need to retain for maintenance, repair or reconstruction of the lift <br />station. Additional area has been retained in case future right-of-way is needed to provide access to acreage <br />lying to the south. The remaining portion of the lot is the subject of the proposed sale.
