This <br />will be a meeting at which City council will canvass the results of <br />the runoff election of May 31, 1997, between John willis and Howard <br />Ebow. <br /> <br />I have therefore included District 4 on the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, held by Howard Ebow, for a term expiring May 30, 1998, <br />and Alternate 2 on the Board of Adjustment, held by John Willis, <br />for a term also expiring May 30, 1998, as Council will have to fill <br />the vacancy created by the election of one of these two individuals <br />at the runoff election. <br /> <br />The draft ordinance includes, for your convenience, the names of <br />the present appointees to each of the positions. Please let me <br />know any changes which you may wish to make on the final version of <br />the ordinance. <br /> <br />On the civil Service Commission, the term of Robert Swanagan is <br />expiring.
