<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br /> <br />Ciltty o~ ILeal JPOJrlce <br />Established 1892 <br /> <br />September 4,1998 <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor Norman Malone and City Council <br />City of La Porte <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Malone: <br /> <br />The La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission, during a special called meeting <br />and public hearing on September 3, 1998, considered a request by PPG <br />Industries for a Special Conditional Use Permit. If approved, Special Conditional <br />Use Permit #SCU98-002 will allow construction of a structure that exceeds the <br />current maximum height limit of forty-five feet in a Heavy Industrial zone. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission has, by a unanimous vote, recommended <br />that City Council consider approval of Special Conditional Use Permit #SCU98- <br />002. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />A~r[)~ <br />/~~-~- <br />Betty T.
