(d) AND (1). <br />-f (o) A prospective member must: (1) submit a signed statement <br />acknowledging that it has read the Bylaws and agrees to abide by them; and (2) <br />execute the Member Services Agreement and return both documents to CIMA prior to <br />approval as a new member. <br />Existing members shall have six months to: (1) provide the signed <br />statement executing the Bylaws; and (2) execute the Member Services Agreement. <br />Both documents shall be returned to CIMA within six months as of the date this <br />condition of membership is adopted. <br />Section 2.4. Voting Procedures. Voting on issues at CIMA meetings will be by <br />show of hands of the designated representative or alternate from each member. A <br />simple majority of those voting members present shall decide the issue. Secret ballots <br />may be used at the discretion of the officers, or whenever requested from the floor and <br />approved by a majority vote. When ballot voting is conducted, the Secretary shall <br />distribute a single ballot to each member establishment, and ensure a 'one member - <br />one vote" system. <br />Matters of organization, procedures, or policy must appear on the prepublished <br />meeting a )enda to be voted on at the meeting. <br />Section 2.5 Admission of Members. The following steps are required for <br />admission to CIMA: <br />(a) Written Application. The prospective organization must submit to <br />the Chairman a written application for membership. <br />(b) Pre -Inspection Consent. A pre -inspection consent form will be sent <br />to the prospective member for completion and will be reviewed by the chief inspection <br />officer. <br />4n3/97 <br />12 <br />
