(ii) A written notice of the consideration of probationary status, <br />from the Chairman to the senior manager of the member, outlining the reasons. <br />(iii) Include the consideration of probationary status for that <br />member in the pre -published agenda for a general membership meeting. <br />(iv) After consideration of the reasons, approval by a majority of <br />voting members present at the general membership meeting is required to place a <br />member on probation. <br />(b) Removal. A continuing probationary status for more than one year <br />is grounds for being dismissed from LIMA. Such dismissal action shall follow the same <br />procedures outlined for probationary status. <br />(c) ' Reinstatement. Probationary status shall be canceled and <br />reinstatement approved at a general membership meeting using the same steps for <br />placing a member on probationary status. <br />(d) Rights While On Probation. When under probationary status, a <br />member loses voting rights and administrative services normally included at no charge <br />such as attending CIMA sponsored training, complimentary manuals and forms, and <br />other similar items. <br />(e) Resignation. A member may resign at any time by delivery of <br />notice to the Chairman or Secretary. <br />Se :tion 2.7 Meetings. <br />(a) Regular Meetings. Meetings of the membership shall be held <br />bi-monthly. Meetings will be held at designated locations, and all members will be <br />expected to participate as a host. A meeting notice and agenda will be sent to all <br />members prior to the meeting. <br />(b) Special Meeting. Special meetings of the members shall be held <br />whenever called by the Chairman or upon the request of any ten (10) members.
