• 0 THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HARRIS CITY OF LA PORTE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with the provisions of Section 211.006 of the Texas Local Government Code and Section 106-302 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, notice is hereby given that the La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PdVL on the 16th day of December, 1999, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, LaPorte, Texas. The purpose of this hearing is to consider rezone request #R 99-004, which has been requested for a 0.512 acre tract or parcel of land, more or less, out of the W. P. Huns Survey, Abstract No. 30, and the L. T. Moody 14.484 acre tract out of the 200 acre W. W. Ralston tract, Harris County, Texas. The said property, tracts 1A & 2A Block A Moody Lloyd T., is located along Sunrise Drive. Mr. Charles Whittenton, authorized representative for the property owner, Bernice Polly Whittenton, is seeking this request for the development of a single-family dwelling. On the recommendation of staff, the following properties will also be looked at as a comprehensive rezoning of the area. Moody Lloyd, T U/R: Lots 3, 4, & 5 Blk A, TractslB & 2B Blk A, Lots 1,2,3,4,5 Blk B. Abstract 30, W. P. Harris: TR 13C-1, 13C-2, & 13C-3 Sunrise T/K Sunrise Dr.: Unit 1-25, Bldg. I, II, & III Bay Colony Condo: Units A-L Bldgs. A, B, & C (Bay Colony Drive) The purpose of the zone change is to create a Medium Density Residential (R-2) zone for the entire aforementioned tracts. A regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission will follow the public hearing for the purpose of acting upon the public hearing items and to conduct other matters pertaining to the Commission.
